 PCB or Printed Circuit Board is the key component that regulates any electronic component or device. China has remained dominant in electronic market of India even if one wants, made in India electronic spare parts are not available. Local vendors of India have no option but to import the electronic product's spare parts and further pay custom duty on the same and at the time the product is sold pay GST accordingly 18% or 28%. This becomes very difficult for sellers to compete with the market price and further the entire load of taxes are on the buyer.

In order to achieve the goal of "Atma Nirbhar Bharat" (self reliant India) in context of enhancing the capacity and capability in Manufacturing of electronic goods government of India introduced 

schemes in 2 June 2020 called as PLI scheme (Production Linked Incentive). This provides incentives to the manufacturers on the basis of increase in production which is up to 6%.

Biggest issues with the government schemes are will they be implemented but, no to this scheme companies like TATA, Jio and Nokia already invested in the scheme.

This is important to produce own goods to boost our economy and hence the success of this is important.
